Road trip recommendations from either Calais of St Malo would be great as we plan on taking them fairly regularly from London.
We're embarking upon our first 2 week road trip in our 70 year old Citroen at the end of May from London to Ile de Ré via Dieppe, Honfleur and Mont-Saint-Michel.
Can you please recommend a different route with stops going back to Dieppe from Ile de Ré taking about 4/5 days?
Cap Ferret looks wonderful, but maybe too similar to Ile de Ré and the wrong direction?
Thanks to Yolo for guiding me on a recent trip. Le Grand Mazarin in Paris is truly a wonderful hotel. The rooms, bar, restaurant and the pool, ooh la la. Also spent a beautifully curated bric-a-brac day in Zürich that started with solo sightseeing/shopping and ended at Krollenhalle with the hubby. The bar was amazing (could watch those mixologists all night) and the food truly fantastic! So grateful for this first class resource.
Had a solo dinner at Kronenhalle this week while traveling for business thanks to this post - and it did not disappoint. It was so special, everything from the service, to the dinning room to the FOOD - I will have to return to have a drink at the bar next time I'm there. So grateful for this recommendation.
Loire valley itinerary or tips please!
France!
— best antiquing guides?
— off the beaten path for Provence/South of France
— how to find longer term villas etc in that area for summer stays?
Thank you!
France...uh, can I have France help like yesterday? I leave in a month.

Any tips on Annecy? North-Western Shore?

Hi! I know this is months late, but I'm looking for suggestions for good summer-safari-appropriate clothing-- any ideas or direction?
