About a month ago, I wrote about our difficult decision to sell our house in France—one that we had originally planned to renovate—and how, instead of throwing ourselves into another big project, we chose to slow down, love the house we already have, and learn to sit still for a while. In that post, I briefly mentioned how buying a house here has its benefits, and promised I’d elaborate. After several conversations with real experts, I am happy to finally be able to deliver on that. I hope you’ll be as excited as I am about this intel and come be my neighbor!
