Athens, Koufonisia, Amorgos, Folegandros and Milos—new discoveries, places we’d definitely go back to, and some secret spots to keep between us
If you’ve been reading Yolo for a bit, you know my love for this country. This summer, I was lucky to get to visit twice—the first time was a long weekend in Athens for an event in early July, and the second was an island hop through several of the Cycladic Islands, which I just came back from two weeks ago. I’m always saying that you shouldn’t go to Greece in high summer for the too hot/too crowded reasons, but since my birthday is at the end of August, and it’s my favorite place to celebrate, I ignore my own advice. We’ve done a lot of Greece content over the last couple of years, so if you’re planning a trip be sure to check out our Athens Travel Planner, Greece Travel Planner, Greek Islands Travel Planner, our Dodecanese List, and our Cyclades List–but here are my latest finds from the summer!
