A 1960s Hawaiian hotel legend reinvents itself, a fasting clinic in Spain with a vibe, a new edition of our favorite old-school Paris guide, and the epic adventures of The Luminaire.
I’m planning a trip to Scandinavia this summer. We’re planning to visit either Stockholm or Copenhagen then continue on to a badehotel (or the Swedish equivalent). Are there any beachside retreats that you recommend?
I have spent many, many summers on Öland with my kids, but my mother and my aunts sold the property so looking for intel on Gotland or islands within sailing distance of Stockholm. Definitely include Öland!
Awesome. I miss Kona. Truly a great place on the island. The travel company sounds great too. The amount of knowledge that exists out there on how we can better travel and engage with the world is tremendous. Thanks for the read!
Have done the cities - Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen - would love intel on Faroe Islands (is it worth it? For how long?), western Sweden (I've read bits here & there, what's a must see?) and for either Denmark or Sweden - if we were to rent a house for a week in the summer, where should it be? TY!
I've only road tripped around Norway in October - would love some intel on Spring/Summer adventures in either coastal Norway/the Swedish Islands/coastal Denmark!
Day trips from Copenhagen (my husband and I are moving there soon!), Faroe Islands intel, Helsinki weekend guide, where to sauna/appropriate sauna etiquette
We have used your current Scandinavia intel a lot already with great success. Would like more info on islands to visit off Sweden, even Bergman island, and wellness places and hiking. Denmark too. Would love for you to give intel for Poland and more in Eastern Europe as it's so beautiful and unsung but nice to have treats and lovely places to eat and stay. Thank you!!
Definitely intel on Sweden - Stockholm, the small towns you can get to from Stockholm via water. I am headed there in 2025 and looking to do some waterway trips from the big city.
